Registered Nurse Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Provide patient-centered care within a Medical Surgical unit, delivering critical nursing services during night shifts. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and optimal health outcomes through skilled clinical interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and safety protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Document patient care activities thoroughly and accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient recovery.
• Educate patients and families about care procedures and health management.

Qualifications:

• Valid state RN license required; license must be current at time of submittal.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting preferred.
• Certification in ACLS and BLS mandated.
• Demonstrate strong patient assessment skills and clinical judgment.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, night-shift environment.
• Knowledge of hospital compliance, including onboarding and module completion.
