Job Summary
We are looking for motivated Apprentice Helpers to assist electricians and skilled trades personnel on commercial and industrial construction projects. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals interested in learning the electrical trade while gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced construction environment. Apprentice Helpers will support daily job site operations, maintain clean work areas, transport materials, and assist with basic installation tasks under supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Assist electricians and apprentices with installation of electrical systems and components
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment throughout the job site
- Pull wire, organize materials, and assist with conduit installation
- Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment
- Follow instructions from supervisors, foremen, and journeymen
- Support site safety efforts and comply with OSHA and company safety standards
- Load and unload materials and deliveries
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely
- Perform general labor duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not required
- Interest in learning the electrical trade
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
- Strong willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow directions and safety procedures
- Positive attitude and dependable work ethic
- Basic knowledge of hand tools preferred
- Commercial and industrial construction sites
- Indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Exposure to noise, dust, and active construction areas
- PPE required at all times
