The Athol Royalston Regional School District is seeking a Physical Education/Health Teacher for 8 hours per week for Grades 9-12. A successful candidate is one who:
Provides a structured, safe, high expectations environment addressing appropriate Physical Education and Health Standards.
Engages students in both team sports and individual activities, while explaining the safe and correct way to engage in physical fitness.
Teaches social interaction skills as students learn and work together in the Physical Education setting
Plans instruction that motivates and excites the students while emphasizing the importance of life-long physical activity and awareness of self
Recognizes and differentiates instruction that meets the needs of all students and abilities
