- Associates or Bachelors degree in a behavioral health discipline or related field
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

- Offer skills training and support in daily living activities, including basic and interactive skills
- Assist in enhancing communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Provide counseling and intensive support during psychiatric crises or transitional periods
- Help clients identify suitable mental health, addiction, and medical services, facilitating access to preferred options
- Support the development and maintenance of a natural support network comprised of family and friends
- Aid in finding acceptable housing, negotiating leases, and securing essential furnishings
- Gather and input demographic and insurance details while verifying coverage
- Assess urgency of client situations, categorizing them as routine or crisis, and triage accordingly
- Make necessary internal referrals within the agency while keeping comprehensive knowledge of CSO programs and resources
- Remain updated on payer requirements and managed care plans
- Serve as a liaison between CSO and local agencies and groups when relevant
