About This PositionCRJ is a nonprofit organization dedicated to changing lives and strengthening communities through direct service, advocacy, and innovation. We operate across four core service lines:
Community Strategies (CS), Reentry Services (RS), Crime & Justice Institute (CJI), and Family Reentry (FRE).
This is a part‑time, 24‑hours/week, non‑exempt position in our Athol, MA location. The position is eligible for benefits and offers a starting rate of $18/hr.
The role provides valuable training and opportunities for career advancement and professional development.
Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday; 11:00 pm – 7:00 am
Duties & Responsibilities- Supervise and transport clients during assigned hours; this may include job interviews, medical appointments, weekly recreation, religious services, and shopping trips.
- Support and teach clients new skills including, but not limited to, specific goals in the clients’ Individual Service Plan.
- Act as a positive role model for the client to support attaining the highest quality of life while maintaining their safety in all settings.
- Administer medications and complete appropriate documentation in a timely manner, such as progress notes, weekly summaries, and attendance.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Desire to make a genuine difference in the lives of others.
- Must pass required certifications in the allotted time set forth by the agency.
- Must pass a criminal and driver’s check.
The pay range for this role is: 18–22 USD per hour
