We are partnering with a large corporation in search of a Senior Accounting Manager. This role offers an excellent work-life balance, with three days a week onsite, along with competitive benefits. The ideal candidate will have a background in public accounting, purchase accounting, and strong technical accounting and supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow)
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger; review journal entries
• Ensure accurate and timely posting of financial transactions
• Support internal and external audits with clear documentation and analysis
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff; review their work for accuracy
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Lead system upgrades or improvements for accounting platforms (e.g., ERP, billing systems)
• Research and apply technical accounting guidance (e.g., revenue recognition, leases, impairments)
• Monitor and implement new accounting standards (ASC 842, ASC 606, ASC 740, etc.)
• Assess and document the financial impact of new or complex accounting issues

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 6+ years of Accounting Manager experience
• Strong technical accounting and purchase accounting experience
