Tax Manager

LHH is assisting in the search for a Manager of Tax Accounting for a global manufacturer located near Alpharetta, GA. This is a direct hire, hybrid opportunity offering a competitive compensation and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  ; CPA strongly preferred
  .
• 5+ years of experience in public accounting or corporate tax departments.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 740 and experience with One Source Tax Provision and ERP systems.
• Manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
• Advanced Excel proficiency to include vlookup, pivot tables, macros is a huge plus!

Responsibilities:

• Preparing the global tax provision under ASC 740
  , including coordination of non-US data, FIN 48 analysis, and financial statement disclosures.
• Supporting tax compliance
  , forecasting
  , and planning initiatives
  .
• Partnering with internal teams and external auditors.
• Monitoring legislative and regulatory changes and updating systems accordingly.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements.
