Accounting Manager

Role Overview

A growing organization is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to support core financial reporting, accounting operations, and process improvement initiatives. This role works closely with senior finance leadership and cross‑functional teams, while also providing day‑to‑day oversight of key accounting activities and contributing to a scalable, well‑controlled finance function.

Core Responsibilities

• Own and manage recurring monthly accounting processes
• Oversee GL activity
• Provide accounting leadership across complex areas such as leases, inventory, fixed assets, and revenue‑related matters
• Partner with operational and corporate stakeholders to address accounting questions and improve visibility
• Maintain strong internal controls and identify opportunities to streamline processes
• Assist with audit preparation, including coordination with external auditors and support of required schedules and disclosures
• Lead, coach, and develop accounting staff
• Provide flexible support across the finance team as business needs evolve

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred
• Progressive accounting experience within corporate accounting environments
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and core accounting principles
• Proven ability to collaborate across functions and communicate clearly with non‑accounting partners
• Prior experience leading a team
