LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Accountant for our client in Atlanta, GA. Our client is a top-tier Bank, and the ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all tax vouchers are processed and mailed out timely, as well as, for inputting documents received into our property tax application for tracking purposes. General accounting experience is required. OverviewAccountant, Property Taxes. Onsite 5 days/week 8-5pm, Duration: 12 months. 100% ON-SITE. Monday-Friday. Flexible start and end time – discuss with manager upon starting.
ResponsibilitiesWill be responsible for ensuring all tax vouchers are processed and mailed out timely, as well as, for inputting documents received into our PPT App for tracking purposes. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures and performs a variety of complicated tasks. Also, back up for preparing property tax bills for paying timely and bill back to lessees, review assess values for reasonableness and issues identified and tracked.
The position will respond to customer inquiries regarding property tax charges and provide clear explanations and detailed calculations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Excel especially)
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Multi-tasking in fast-paced environment
- Basic accounting
- Leasing Business Personal Property Tax knowledge/experience
