Senior Auditor

Location: Atlanta, GA - Near Truist Park

Position Type: Hybrid / Full-time

Firm Size: Mid-size Firm (25 – 30 employees)

Experience: 3+ years of public accounting experience preferred

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Auditor to join our reputable CPA firm in Atlanta, GA. Our firm specializes in providing audit and assurance services to construction companies, real estate, employee benefit plans, non-profits, and closely held businesses. As a Senior Auditor, you will have the opportunity to lead financial statement engagements, work with a talented team, and enjoy excellent compensation, benefits, and a clear career progression path.

Position

Responsibilities
  • Obtain a comprehensive understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives to perform engagement procedures effectively.
  • Prepare a variety of working papers and financial statements for engagement quality control review.
  • Develop and execute analytical procedures on account balances.
  • Work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Maintain open communication with engagement management regarding questions, issues, and project progress.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships by providing exceptional service.
  • Implement feedback to streamline procedures and apply new concepts.
  • Travel to clients within the Atlanta Metro area (less than 20% travel).
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Licensed CPA or CPA Candidate preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting preferred
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Thomson Reuters Advance Flow or Case Ware is a plus
