Essential functions and requirements reflect CRI’s focus on client understanding, internal controls, audit procedures, and collaboration within a team.

• Obtain an understanding of the client’s business and industry, including the client’s system cycles and account balances within the scope of assigned tasks
• Obtain an understanding of the work to be performed and its purpose
• Develop working knowledge of financial institution processes, including internal controls over financial reporting
• Perform substantive and analytical auditing procedures in assigned areas
• Prepare working papers documenting tests performed and procedures followed to substantiate conclusions
• Be alert to proper and consistent application of accounting principles in audit procedures
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and footnotes
• Identify and document control deficiencies or other matters warranting management attention

• 1-3 years (or busy seasons) within a public accounting firm
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and completed all requirements to be eligible for the CPA exam
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities
• Ability to work well in a team environment
