Bilingual (German/English) Senior Audit Associate - Atlanta, GA

The Senior Audit Associate will lead audit engagements for U.S.

-inbound international businesses, support team development, and deliver high-quality services to clients in the manufacturing and distribution sectors. This role offers the opportunity to work with German/European clients, manage complex engagements, and grow within a dynamic, internationally focused practice.

Position Overview

-inbound international businesses, support team development, and deliver high-quality services to clients in the manufacturing and distribution sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise audit engagements across various industries.
  • Develop and execute audit programs, including setting objectives, identifying risks, evaluating controls, and designing test procedures.
  • Perform technical accounting research on diverse topics.
  • Provide timely, high-quality deliverables that exceed client expectations.
  • Communicate proactively to manage timelines and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Prepare clear and concise work papers and documentation.
  • Mentor and train staff while supporting their professional development.
  • Delegate effectively and oversee team performance by setting goals and removing barriers.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior managers on proposals and business development efforts.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to junior team members.
Qualifications
  • Native or fluent proficiency in German.
  • 3–5 years of public accounting experience.
  • BA/BS in Accounting or Master’s in Accounting/Taxation.
  • Strong teamwork, leadership, and professional integrity.
  • Excellent English research, writing, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA license or similar certification.
  • Experience in manufacturing and distribution.
  • Pro System fx Engagement experience.
  • CCH Axcess experience.
