About the Company

Pareto Solutions Group is pleased to announce that a company with which we partner is looking to add a Senior Accountant to their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to move from public accounting into industry (Big 4 background and/or CPA required).

About the Role

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for day‑to‑day accounting operations and monthly close, including accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger integrity, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
• Assist in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual audited financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP, including account reconciliations, journal entries, footnotes, and preparation of supporting schedules.
• Help ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial reports for internal stakeholders.
• Conduct analytical reviews of financial data to ensure accuracy and reasonableness, identifying key trends, variances, and opportunities.
• Support the strengthening of internal controls to ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance, while assisting with drafting accounting memorandums and internal control processes.
• Lead the audit process, ensuring timely completion of all audit requests and maintaining comprehensive, accurate records and documentation to support compliance and financial reporting.
• Identify and contribute to process improvements within the accounting and financial reporting functions.
• Support treasury functions, including the preparation of daily cash reports, monitoring daily cash positions, developing short‑ and long‑term liquidity forecasts, and completing ad hoc reporting requests as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting/audit experience
• Public accounting (Big 4 strongly preferred). In lieu of Big Four, an active CPA will suffice.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.
