Join Aprio’s Tax team and help clients maximize their opportunities. Aprio is a progressive, fast‑growing firm looking for a Senior Tax Associate to join their dynamic team.
Position Responsibilities- Develop and implement tax strategies that reduce clients’ tax bills.
- Manage and lead a team of tax professionals, delegating tasks and overseeing work.
- Stay current on changing tax laws and regulations, identifying opportunities for tax planning.
- Provide consulting services on mergers and acquisitions, tax planning, and corporate restructuring.
- Conduct tax research to stay up‑to‑date with changing tax laws.
- Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
- Communicate with clients, stakeholders, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies to handle all tax‑related matters effectively.
- Manage client relationships and ensure client satisfaction with the services provided by the team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Master’s degree in Taxation (preferred).
- Recent experience working in a public accounting firm.
- 2–5 years of federal tax consulting and/or compliance experience.
- CPA is highly preferred but not required.
- Experience with 1040, 1065, 1120‑S, 1120, and 1041 returns.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of tax software and technology.
Salary Range: $70,000 – $124,000 per year. The actual salary may be closer to one end of the range and may, in certain circumstances, fall outside of the listed range.
