Outstanding and very reputable, $100mm Manufacturing company located in near Doraville, is seeking an Assistant Controller for an immediate need! This is an amazing opportunity to join a stable and growing company.

• Assist the controller in overseeing the accounting department, ensuring proper accounting practices and timely closing of books.
• Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
• Support audit processes, both internal and external, by providing necessary documentation and reports.
• Manage a team of 3.
• Produces and manages balance sheets and analyze future earnings and expenses.
• Assists with management of accounting, auditing and budgeting within the organization.
• Assists with preparations for audits. Works to reconcile accounting inaccuracies or imbalances.
• Perform as a key resource in the month end close process.
• Prepare monthly general ledger account reconciliations.
• Assist with the external financial statement audit.
• Participate in process improvement projects within the finance team.
• Reports to Controller.

• BS in Accounting, Masters preferred.
• 6-7 years of Accounting and Finance experience preferred.
• Manufacturing experience.
• CPA preferred but not a must.
• Demonstrated knowledge of US GAAP, including willingness to research and resolve accounting applications.
• Proficient in ERP software experience.
