Tax Senior Associate - Public Accounting

We're currently working with a respected mid-sized CPA firm that's expanding its team and looking to add a Tax Senior Associate. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional eager to grow their career within a supportive, learning-focused environment.

Tax Senior Associate Essential Functions:

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
• Conduct research and provide tax planning strategies for clients across diverse industries.
• Assist Managers and Partners in complex tax projects and client communications.
• Mentor and train junior staff, providing feedback and technical guidance.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through timely communication and quality service

Tax Senior Associate Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required (Master's in Taxation preferred).
• CPA or CPA eligibility strongly preferred.
• 3-5 years of recent public accounting experience with a focus on tax compliance and planning.
• Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with major tax preparation software (e.g., Ultra Tax, CCH Axcess, Pro System, etc.).

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive base salary: $85K - $120K+, depending on experience.
