Position Overview:

The Tax Senior will serve a diverse client base across many industries, support the growth of the tax practice, and gain extensive opportunities for long-term career advancement within a vibrant firm culture.

Key Responsibilities:

● Prepare and review federal and multi-state tax returns, with emphasis on C-Corporations and ASC 740 tax provisions.

● Research tax issues using online research tools.

● Perform general accounting duties needed for engagements.

● Train, coach, and develop Staff Accountants.

● Collaborate and communicate effectively with managers, partners, and clients.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting;
Master’s preferred.

● CPA certification or active progress toward licensure.

● 3+ years of public accounting experience with strong review capabilities.

● Proficiency with spreadsheet tools; familiarity with Pro System fx, CCH, RIA, or Engagement is a plus.

● Strong project management, leadership, and communication abilities with a sense of urgency.
