A nationally-recognized and award-winning accounting firm is recruiting a talented Tax Manager to join their growing team.

Reports to: Senior Tax Manager

Key responsibilities:

• Reviewing tax returns of varying complexities
• Delegating tax preparation and research to staff (as appropriate)
• Preparing complex business income tax returns
• Tax consulting and projections
• Assuming client service responsibility
• Developing staff members
• Manage a team of 6.

Key experience and skills:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required; master's degree in taxation preferred
• Current CPA license required
• 4-7 years of experience preparing corporate, partnership and individual income tax returns in a public accounting firm
• Minimum of one (1) year experience supervising and directing work of tax preparers
• Exceptional Excel skills
• Proficiency with tax automation / workflow software is a plus
• Consultative approach and client service oriented
• Exceptional and proactive communicator (verbal & written)
• Self-directed and autonomous.
