Position OverviewWe’re hiring a Real Estate Development Accountant to take ownership of project accounting and company financials. This highly visible role reports directly to the CEO and plays a critical part in driving financial accuracy and insight across multiple real estate developments.
Responsibilities- Manage full-cycle project accounting, including cost tracking and job costing
- Prepare monthly financials, draw requests, and investor reporting
- Oversee budget vs. actual analysis and variance reporting
- Maintain compliance with financial institutions and partners
- Utilize Quick Books to manage general ledger and company financials
- Partner with internal teams, vendors, and external accountants
- Provide financial insights and recommendations directly to the CEO
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in real estate development or construction accounting
- Strong proficiency in Quick Books and project accounting workflows
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills and executive presence
