Staff Accountant

Director, Executive Search | Accounting & Finance | Vaco

Our publicly traded client is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. The company offers excellent work life balance, room for growth and advancement and a hybrid work environment. The Staff Accountant will assist with month end close, journal entries, reconciliations and process improvements.

• Assist with monthly financial close including journal entries, internal reporting, and account reconciliations
• Perform and document in-depth analysis of accounts and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy
• Prepare financial reports
• Ensure compliance with GAAP
• Research and resolve accounting issues
• Work with internal and external auditors

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• 2+ years of experience in general ledger accounting or public accounting
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience with an ERP is a plus
