Payroll & Benefits Manager

Vaco Atlanta is working with an impressive client in the Buckhead area of Atlanta, GA in their search for a Payroll & Benefits Manager
. This is a CONTRACT position with the potential to convert to permanent.
This position requires in-office work; therefore, only candidates who live in the Atlanta, GA metropolitan area will be considered.

• Handle year-end payroll, benefits and 401k audits
• Manage multi-state payroll tax compliance
• Over new state & local tax code set-ups
• Handle benefits administration, including enrollment, eligibility, and payroll deductions
• Oversee Open Enrollment
• Support the payroll team

• At least 8 years of hands‑on multi‑state payroll processing with benefits administration experience REQUIRED
• Experience in UKG is preferred
• Must be familiar with federal and state laws related to payroll taxes
• Must have strong audit experience
• Payroll certification is preferred
