An established CPA firm in Atlanta is adding an experienced Tax Manager who wants more influence and room to keep progressing, without becoming another layer in a big structure.

You've manage the work, review complex returns, develop staff, and act as a real advisor to your clients rather than someone pushing files through a system. You'll also have a visible say in how the tax team runs and grows.

• $125,000 to $150,000, depending on experience
• Hybrid, based in Atlanta, GA
• 401(k), plus medical, dental and vision insurance
• Your own portfolio and client relationships
• A direct working relationship with the Partners and wider leadership
• Advisory work, not just compliance

• Managing engagements and owning client relationships
• Reviewing complex returns
• Building advisory relationships with clients alongside the compliance work
• Developing junior and senior staff
• Having a real voice in how the tax team runs

• CPA or EA required
• Solid recent public accounting tax experience, including managing engagements, reviewing returns and working directly with clients
• Experience supervising, mentoring or developing other tax professionals
