Our client, an Atlanta based family office and seeking an experienced Controller, CPA to join their team.
This is a newly created position offering a unique opportunity to join this organization. You will serve right hand to the CFO.
The family office will oversee a substantial real estate portfolio and multiple privately held operating companies.
Key Responsibilities- Lead accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close across multiple entities.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, including complex revenue recognition principles.
- Establish accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting procedures.
- Manage and maintain banking relationships.
- Oversee financial activities for real estate investments and portfolio companies.
- Partner directly with the CEO on financial and operational decisions.
- Build, lead, and develop the accounting function as the family office grows.
- Active CPA required.
- Strong foundation in public accounting and audit, combined with private industry experience.
- Excellent technical accounting, GAAP, and revenue recognition expertise.
- Experience managing complex, multi-entity accounting environments.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. - Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build processes and take ownership.
$190,000-$225,000 Base Salary plus incentives
