We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounts Officer to manage financial operations, reporting, and accounting activities within our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong financial knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and experience working with project-based accounting systems.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily accounting operations and financial transactions
- Maintain general ledger and prepare journal entries
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes
- Monitor project budgets and cost tracking
- Prepare tax returns and ensure regulatory compliance
- Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies
- Assist with audits and financial reviews
- Manage payroll coordination and vendor payments
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience with accounting software (Quick Books, SAP, Zoho Books, Tally, etc.)
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Budgeting and cost control expertise
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Experience in Construction / Engineering Industry
- Knowledge of project accounting
- Understanding of tax compliance and financial regulations
- ERP system experience
