We are hiring a Staff Accountant to join our Finance team at Atlanta City FC. This individual will report to the Finance Director and assist in day-to-day accounting, month-end close, annual audits, NWSL reporting, treasury management, control implementations, and other requested projects. This fully onsite role will be based at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, GA, until 2028 when the role will be based at our new world-class training facility in Marietta, GA.

• Assist with month-end close processes and journal entries
• Maintain financial records and general ledger accounts
• Assist in the preparation of account reconciliations
• Manage check deposits and cash requests
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Track and reconcile capital expenditures
• Prepare balance sheet and income statement variance analysis
• Support annual audits and NWSL reporting requirements
• Complete ad hoc analysis and other projects as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Public accounting or corporate accounting experience a plus
• CPA candidate a plus
• Experience with Great Plains, Concur, and Vena is considered a plus

• Use of good judgment, professionalism, strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative style
• Demonstrate high integrity, tact, and a positive attitude
• Strong communication, time management and organizational skills
• Proficiency in decision making, analysis and entrepreneurial strategic thinking
• Demonstrate ability to be value-added business partner with peers and senior executives
• Strong Excel skills and Windows-based finance system knowledge
