Job Title: Absence Support Coordinator

Location(s): Atlanta, GA

Position Summary

The Absence Support Coordinator is responsible for administering absence logging processes across designated states and ensuring full compliance with applicable local regulations. The role partners with leadership teams to maintain accurate records, support operational consistency, and uphold regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain precise documentation in multiple databases and process absence status codes in a timely manner.
  • Follow established SOPs to manually excuse and approve absence codes within the MyTeam system.
  • Update an accrual tracking PowerPoint bank based on predefined guidelines.
  • Collect, organize, and disseminate information using efficient data management methods; generate reports and meet required deadlines.
  • Support leaders by ensuring adherence to all relevant laws, rules, regulations, and internal standards.
  • Escalate complex cases to designated merit leaders; this role carries no independent decision‑making authority.
  • Handle confidential and HIPAA‑protected information with a high level of professionalism and discretion.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with sensitive data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management tools.
  • Ability to interpret and apply a wide range of regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
