The role will be based in our Atlanta office on an in‑office basis. Regular in‑office presence is required for day‑to‑day operations, team meetings, training opportunities and relationship building. This role reports to the Practice Group Manager.
Position SummaryThis case coordinator will support the Immigration Practice Group by managing a high volume of business immigration applications. Candidates should be flexible to work overtime as needed and comfortable collaborating with attorneys, paralegals and staff in a fast‑paced setting.
Key Responsibilities- Update information and upload documents into an immigration case management system
- Assist attorneys or paralegals with case initiation
- Maintain, update and organize client files, assist in drafting immigrant and non‑immigrant visa applications
- Update and maintain reports, monitor immigration expiration dates
- Manage caseload and process & distribute essential documents
- Process incoming and outgoing correspondences
Assist with other department activities as needed and perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
- High attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively
- Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines and effectively prioritize multiple tasks
- Self‑starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong problem‑solving skills, initiative, good judgment and excellent follow‑up skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), professional demeanor and presentation
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience desired; customer service experience is a plus
- Computer proficiency in Windows‑based software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Exceptional computer skills with the ability to learn new software applications quickly
