- Organization of events, meetings, and workshops.
- Coordinate logistical issues and scheduling.
- Purchase supplies, maintain accurate records, gather information, enter and verify data, filing and sorting correspondence, answering phones (receive and screen calls, route questions to appropriate staff), and schedule appointments.
- Edit drafts, documents, reports, memos, forms, and correspondences.
- Type materials and file/log all correspondences in and out of the office.
- Coordinate staff and students events, activities, and conferences.
- Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Respond to inquiries from prospective students.
- Demonstrate strong organizational, interpersonal, time management, and communication skills.
- Communicate effectively with students and professionals.
- Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Excel), email, spreadsheets, word processing, databases, and the Internet.
- Show initiative and the ability to work independently or as part of a team; prior office experience preferred.
- Maintain a professional appearance and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of college.
- A minimum of five years experience in administrative duties.
- Excellent computer and analytical skills; ability to perform daily clerical duties; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Maintain accurate records, data entry, and a high level of confidentiality.
- Ability to perform daily administrative duties.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Strong communication skills.
- Minimum of one year of college with five years of administrative work experience and strong computer/analytical skills.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, time management, and communication skills.
- Effective communication with students and professionals.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, spreadsheets, word processing, databases, and the Internet.
- Ability to show initiative and to work independently as well as in a team; prior office experience.
- Professional appearance and ability to prioritize effectively.
- Ability to sit for extended periods at a computer.
- Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds.
