Position Overview

The Executive Vice President of Sales is RPI’s global commercial leader and a key member of the executive team. The role owns the revenue strategy across Enterprise, Private Label, eCommerce Partnerships, and the Blurb Creator Platform. You will build unified sales systems, expand into new markets, strengthen partnerships, and lead a high‑performing commercial organization through a period of meaningful transformation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute global sales strategy across all business units, integrating print and digital channels.
  • Identify and pursue new markets, verticals, and partnership opportunities; work with US and EU sales teams to drive geographic expansion in North America and Europe.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to align sales efforts with company goals and ensure strong product‑market fit.
  • Hire, lead, mentor and scale a high‑performing sales organization; establish clear metrics and compensation structures.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise clients, publishers, partners, and creative communities; represent RPI at industry events.
  • Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, pricing strategy, and revenue reporting; implement CRM and sales automation tools for data‑driven decisions.
  • Advise the CEO and Board on growth strategy, market trends, commercial risks, and execution.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive sales leadership experience with P&L responsibility in print manufacturing, eCommerce, digital platform, content/publishing, or other technology‑enabled environments.
  • Proven success driving multi‑channel revenue growth across enterprise, SMB, and consumer markets.
  • Strong expertise in strategic partnerships, contract negotiation, and data‑informed sales execution.
  • Demonstrated leadership of distributed, matrixed, and cross‑functional teams across multiple geographies.
  • Deep familiarity with CRM systems, analytics platforms, and technology‑enabled selling.
  • Outstanding communication, influence, and executive presence.
  • Passion for leading with integrity, curiosity, continuous improvement, and commitment to excellence.
