The Payments Issuing Product Manager will lead the evaluation, development, and management of Arrive’s mobility card issuance while exploring broader build vs. buy opportunities. This role is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of payment/card solutions (both physical and virtual), designing operational and compliance processes, and integrating systems to ensure successful market implementation and adoption. The role will also help shape strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate cross‑functionally to align product development with Arrive’s mobility and payments goals.
Roles and Responsibilities- Manage the development and lifecycle of Arrive’s mobility card issuing products, ensuring smooth issuance, activation, and usage with attention to physical and virtual card solutions
- Build product roadmap and prioritize enhancements based on quantitative and qualitative input; ensure scalability, regulatory fit, and alignment with Arrive’s payments and mobility strategy and with partners
- Comply with card schemes regulation (Master Card / Visa / JCB / AMEX and etc.)
- Interact with third‑party providers, fintechs, card schemes, and vendors for the manufacture and personalization of cards, including migration from some existing providers
- Analyze experience and implement product strategies to drive growth in card applications in the B2B model
- Define, monitor and report on KPIs for card usage, business‑enabled sales, adoption, cost, customer satisfaction/NPS scores, fraud/compliance metrics
- Ensure customer reporting and regulatory compliance reporting is structured
- Analyze back‑office processes and interact with teams to get sustainable workflow (dispute management, reversal, etc.)
- Structure management stages in accordance with existing payment processes (user stories, assessment, pilot definition, etc.)
- Monitor the financial performance (budget monitoring, card brand incentive program, etc.) and prioritize the backlog accordingly
- Promote continuous improvement (customer adoption, transaction growth, process efficiency)
- Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Payment, Business or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
- 10+ years of product management experience in payments, fintech or related industries, with direct experience in card issuing and launching new payment products
- Hands‑on expertise with virtual card solutions; exposure to mobility card use cases (fuel cards, mobility expense management, EV charging, parking) strongly preferred
- Experience operating across both European and U.S. markets, with an understanding of regional customer needs (user stories), competitive landscapes, and regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale products from the ground up, including product strategy, partner selection/management, and cross‑functional execution
- Being able to monitor key performance indicators and make informed strategic decisions
- Desired qualities: proactive, innovative and collaborative mindset, excellent communication skills.
