What You'll Do:

The North American Contract Manager is responsible for leading the contract management processes across North American region, ensuring consistency and compliance. This role manages the full contract lifecycle from drafting and negotiation to execution, renewal, amendment, and close-out while maintaining alignment with business objectives. The position also develops standardized templates, approval workflows, and contract-management procedures, and ensures adherence to organizational and regulatory standards.

This position is based in Atlanta, GA with a hybrid work schedule: in-office Tuesday through Thursday and remote Monday and Friday.

Responsibilities:
  • Independently draft, evaluate, negotiate, execute, and manage high-value and high-risk contracts in various areas (supplier, vendor, service etc.) through their full lifecycle including renewal, amendment, and close-out.
  • Manage contract administration activities within North America, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement standardized contract templates and approval workflows to streamline negotiations.
  • Maintain and monitor the contract repository; ensure accurate documentation and timely updates.
  • Serve as a central liaison with internal stakeholders (finance, operations, senior management) and external parties; maintain communication channels and relationships.
  • Monitor performance against contract terms; identify and resolve issues, breaches, or disputes; mitigate risks and advise on improvements.
  • Read and interpret contracts, correspond with contracting parties, and ensure all obligations are met.
  • Work closely with the Commercial Sales team on all commercial contracts.
  • Partner cross-functionally on supplier and vendor agreements to ensure compliance and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Develop contract-management procedures and train internal teams on best practices.
What We Are Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferred degree in a legal field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in commercial contract management or legal operations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of contract management concepts and principles.
  • Lead and influence stakeholders effectively, fostering collaboration and alignment across diverse teams.
  • Analyze complex data and situations with precision, applying strong negotiation strategies to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in contracts and proactively identifying risks.
  • Apply creative and strategic problem-solving skills to resolve challenges and optimize processes.
  • Organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining timelines and delivering results under pressure.
  • Build and maintain strong client and customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and trust.
  • Communicate clearly and persuasively, both verbally and in writing, to convey complex information to varied audiences.
  • Navigate regulatory requirements and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure compliance and protect organizational interests.
