The Finance and Accounting Recruiter will manage a full desk, including recruiting, account management, and new business prospecting. Responsible for growing a target list of new sales prospects, regularly interviewing industry professionals, matching professionals to open roles, achieving sales quota, and servicing existing accounts. The ideal candidate will be dynamic, driven, self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and resilient.
Responsibilities- Full‑cycle recruiting for direct hire positions: sourcing, screening, conducting in‑person behavior‑based interviews, and completing reference checks.
- Follow up on sales leads and work to bring in new clients while managing existing accounts.
- Source for both active and passive talent via job postings, job boards, networking events, social media, and referral base.
- Match candidates to client open positions.
- Negotiate salary rates with candidates.
- Prepare candidates for job interviews and debrief post‑interview.
- Keep candidate records up to date with accurate notes and summaries.
- Identify and market new business through leads, cross‑selling opportunities, and targeted marketing campaigns.
- Speak with clients to take detailed and thorough job orders.
- Develop strong client relationships through onsite visits, lunches/dinners, and other approved activities.
- Stay updated on all industry trends and developments.
- Other projects and tasks as directed by the manager.
- Minimum of 2 years corporate experience, preferably in agency staffing.
- Proven history of achieving sales quota.
- Experience developing sales strategies, including service level and price proposals.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Success in fast‑paced, highly competitive, deadline‑oriented environments.
- Ability to work with multiple levels within an organization and across departments.
- Knowledge of solutions‑oriented sales/closing techniques.
- Ability to sit for extended periods.
- Ability to commute to and work in the office on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- A degree in Finance or Business preferred.
