Within EY-Parthenon’s Strategy and Execution sub service line, the Commercial Strategy practice works on complex and high‑profile commercial strategies, global transactions, and turn-arounds across a broad portfolio of clients and industry sectors.
YourKey Responsibilities
- Lead and execute strategy development, transactions and turn-arounds for our clients.
- Collaborate with team members to realize improved returns by identifying and unlocking value through corporate and BU strategy, go-to-market and commercial operating model improvements.
- Identify, define, quantify and realise sustainable value through revenue enhancement and cost and margin improvement tied to the clients’ commercial aspects.
- Project Management – actively participate in project teams across EY-Parthenon to achieve successful project execution.
- Business and Commercially Driven – work effectively in a fast-paced, exciting environment with strong business acumen.
- Business Development – assist in pursuits, proposal development and contribute to practice development initiatives.
- Learning – develop technical and interpersonal skills through structured learning, coaching and project experiences.
- Building Relationships – cultivate strong working relationships with clients and EY-Parthenon team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or Analytics and 2 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 18 months of related work experience.
- MBA preferred.
- Management consulting experience.
- Experience in corporate and/or BU strategy development, commercial functions (sales, marketing, customer service, pricing), go-to-market strategy, revenue synergy design, market landscape evaluation, pre‑deal strategy and excellent analytical skills.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis abilities, prioritisation, negotiation, influencing and relationship‑building skills.
- Residence or commutable distance to an office location; willingness to travel as required.
- Proven record of excellence in transactions and/or commercial strategy role.
- Experience gained within a large professional services organization.
- Knowledge of leveraging firm‑approved AI tools in a business setting.
- Establish networking skills in a relevant industry.
- Competitive compensation and benefits package with a base salary range of $130,000 – $185,000.
