About the Role
Gusto's Benefits Sales team is launching a new Business Insurance (BI) vertical. As a Senior Sales Operations Analyst, you will design, implement, and optimize processes and create reports to track performance.

Day-to-day

  • Process & Systems Optimization
    • Design and implement the BI Sales engine and AI-driven workflows.
    • Create scalable system for quotas, territories, commissions for up to 60 representatives.
  • Analytics & Insights
    • Build and automate dashboards in Salesforce to monitor funnel and sales activity.
    • Provide actionable recommendations linking data insights to automation.
  • AI & Workflow Innovation
    • Identify and prototype AI tools to reduce manual friction.
    • Examine workflows and rep performance to recommend enhancements.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership
    • Act as trusted advisor to Sales, Finance, Analytics, Biz Tech.
    • Identify risks and opportunities for AI and automation.
    • Facilitate go-to-market readiness with documentation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in Sales Ops, Rev Ops, or similar GTM role.
  • High proficiency in Salesforce.
  • Proficient in AI and automation assessment.
  • Builder’s mindset and analytical proficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in payroll, HR tech, or SMB SaaS.
  • Experience designing automations or AI workflows.
  • Strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Experience building systems for new sales motions.

Compensation
Competitively $104,490–$128,000 for Denver, Atlanta & Las Vegas; $126,530–$155,000 for San Francisco & New York; $97,960–$120,000 for Phoenix.

Work Location
Expected to work 2–3 days per week from Gusto offices in Denver, San Francisco, or New York City.
