We are seeking a Lateral Partner Recruiting Coordinator to join our Atlanta, Chicago, New York, or Washington, DC office. This person will coordinate interview schedules for lateral partner candidates and assist with logistics surrounding the lateral partner interview process.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and coordinate multiple candidate interview schedules weekly; anticipate partners’ needs based on calendars and adjust interview schedules as needed.
- Coordinate virtual interviews by Microsoft Teams; ensure interviews are started, monitored and executed flawlessly.
- Prepare and send candidate pre‑interview materials alongside meeting reminders; update and maintain candidate materials on an ongoing basis.
- Send interview evaluation forms to internal partners and monitor completion of evaluation forms; follow up with partners as needed based on Lateral Lead’s requests.
- Coordinate candidate travel via Travel Department and catering needs for in‑person interviews and meetings.
- Coordinate with Lateral Partner Recruiting Directors and Associate Directors during candidate visits to their offices; greet candidates as needed.
- Work across all candidates, both domestic and our European, Middle East and Asia‑Pacific offices.
- Maintain lateral partner tracking sheets as appropriate, including contacting Lateral Leads for regular updates.
- Maintain all stats on lateral candidates including start date, position, previous employment, etc.; use this data to provide reports as requested by the Lateral Team.
- Ensure all lateral partner candidates are entered into Lawcruit accurately; raise with Lateral Leads if there is any historic data related to an application.
- Coordinate with headhunters when needed and maintain search firm agreements.
- Process expense reimbursements and invoices in Chrome River.
- Perform additional duties as requested.
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate well with lawyers, candidates, all levels of administrative staff, and contacts outside the firm.
- Strong facilitation and organisational skills, with the ability to work proactively, manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining poise under pressure.
- Strong experience across Excel and PowerPoint is highly desirable.
- Attention to detail is highly important.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; law firm and/or professional services experience as well as recruiting experience is preferred.

PayTransparency Range
Chicago: $67,750 – $81,225 annualised.
New York: $75,000 – $90,000 annualised.
Washington, D.C.: $71,250 – $85,500 annualised.
Salary offer will be contingent upon various factors including relevant experience, internal equity, market data, job location, and other factors permitted by law.
Qualified candidates with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with applicable local Fair‑Chance laws.
