Information

The Finance and Planning (F&P) Talent Development Program is designed for recent graduates and experienced professionals seeking a transition into higher education finance. Participants receive comprehensive training and hands‑on experience in Georgia Tech's financial administration environment. The program combines structured learning with practical application through rotational assignments across the central F&P office and distributed campus units. This is a full‑time, 40‑hour per week, limited term appointment for one year.

While the program does not guarantee permanent placement, participants are actively prepared to be competitive candidates for full‑time roles at Georgia Tech upon completion.

Comprehensive Training on Financial Systems: Master Georgia Tech's financial systems, budgeting tools, and reporting platforms through structured training modules and expert‑led workshops.

Rotational Assignments Across Units: Gain diverse experience through rotations in the central F&P office and distributed campus units, exposing you to various aspects of university financial operations including research administration, budget management, and financial reporting.
