Purpose:
The Pro customer represents a $700 billion market opportunity for The Home Depot, and the company has built an unmatched set of capabilities through organic investments and strategic acquisitions. The Office of Pro Acceleration brings together our enterprise teams to accelerate market share capture. In this position, the Senior Manager, Program Management serves as a strategic business partner to leadership and the connective tissue between executive leadership and initiative teams—architecting the operating rhythm and ways of working, driving governance, tracking OKRs, and steering high-priority initiatives to accelerate value creation.
Key Responsibilities:- Defines and enforces operating rhythm and governance cadence for large, multi-unit business transformations
- Partners seamlessly with business partners and leadership to identify bottlenecks, surface interdependencies, and resolve conflict
- Understands financial goals and establishes and tracks OKRs, monitoring progress to ensure financial and strategic objectives are met
- Challenges assumptions to ensure teams are moving with pace to deliver critical milestones, partnering with leadership where necessary to support by securing cross functional input, prioritization, and resourcing
- Typically reports to the Director, Office of Pro Acceleration
- Individual contributor role initially partnering with cross functional teams and leadership
- Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

- Program Management: Proven track record of launching and running structured program management approaches for large cross-functional initiatives. Drives predictable delivery, enforces operating rhythms, and tracks milestone targets across complex initiatives.
- Collaboration: Strong capability to align matrixed initiative teams, cross-functional partners, and commercial leads. Builds cross-functional consensus, breaks down organizational silos, and resolves friction to keep teams moving toward shared objectives.
- Executive Communication & Storytelling: Exceptional ability to synthesize complex concepts into clear narratives. Translates tactical project data into crisp executive updates, facilitating rapid decision-making with senior leadership
