KEH is the largest reseller of pre-owned camera gear in North America. And as the originator of the category has long been a trusted name for photographers, videographers, and creators. Founded in 1979, the company maintains an inventory of more than 60,000 items including over 10,000 unique models, serves a loyal and diverse community of professional and enthusiast photographers, and has built its reputation on an industry-standard equipment grading system, and a customer experience consistently ranked among the best in online retail.

KEH sells primarily through its own channels which include direct-to-consumer, by phone/chat, and through physical retail.

KEH is a branded, technical re-commerce company and takes ownership of inventory, inspects, repairs (if necessary) and improves products and provides everything resold a grade, using a system that it pioneered after its founding in 1979. All items resold through its channels are sold as KEH Certified products. The company also has one of the largest repair operations in the sector and the only one with manufacturer authorization of any reseller of camera and related equipment.

The re-commerce market in photography and video is a proven successful market that is now in the early-to-mid stages of a significant growth cycle as consumers increasingly seek to buy, sell, and trade pre-owned products. Over the last 5 years KEH has experienced substantial growth and has aggressively invested into systems and people to support and continue its growth and market leadership — building the technology and operational infrastructure, expanding and deepening its pool of talent, expanding its product sub-categories, and growing adjacent and strategically accretive business lines.

KEH is majority owned by D Cubed Group, a private-market-investment firm.

KEH is hiring a Business Analyst to help drive reporting, forecasting, and insight generation across inventory, operations, purchasing, and related business functions. This is a high-impact, in-person role that supports senior leadership with the dashboards, models, reporting, and analysis needed to make better operating decisions at greater speed and with greater clarity.

The Business Analyst will own the conversion of business questions into reliable data outputs:
Tableau dashboards, SQL-based reporting, forecasting models, inventory analyses, month-end reporting, and practical recommendations that improve performance. The role sits at the intersection of business operations and analytics, requiring someone who can understand the commercial and operational context, translate it into technical requirements, and communicate results clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The right leader for this role is both strategic and hands-on who will develop and execute the strategies and leverage the resources/departments at the Company to assist in such. This person should be comfortable moving from detailed SQL queries and data reconciliation to executive-level summaries and recommendations, with a strong bias toward accuracy, action, and continuous improvement.

  • Data integrity and accessibility - own the reliability of key analytical outputs by building and maintaining SQL-based data pulls, reconciliations, and processes that connect data across the business.
  • Stakeholder decision support - own the translation of stakeholder needs into technical requirements, analytical outputs, and business recommendations that leadership can act on.
  • Build, maintain, and improve Tableau dashboards for inventory, operations, purchasing, financial, and executive reporting needs.
  • Use SQL, Excel, and other analytical tools to extract, transform, reconcile, and analyze data from multiple business systems.
  • Produce month-end inventory reports and explain month-to-month changes, variances, and underlying business drivers.
  • Develop and refine forecasting models to anticipate demand, optimize inventory levels, and improve supply chain and purchasing decisions.
  • Analyze current business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and develop recommendations that…
