Position: Payments Strategist
Who You’ll Work With Payments Strategist (Payments Business Architect) The Slalom Atlanta Payments and Fintech team is seeking an experienced Payments Strategist who is an industry practitioner and can serve as an advisor to our clients about the business of payments. We are open to hiring at the Principal level title. Our Payments Capability team helps organizations of all kinds redefine what’s possible, give shape to the future—and get there. We

focus on high-impact projects, meeting our clients where they are to uncover business needs and deliver results.  You’ll collaborate with a diverse group of consultants from our Business Advisory Services, Technology Enablement, and Data & Analytics teams, as well as account leaders focused on growing our Payments Capability and financial services practice.

What You’ll DoFocus on Slalom's Business:
* Leverage expertise in payments market landscape to advise our clients about the business of payments.
* Assess payments landscape and provide guidance to develop payments business strategy, identifying business optimization and business growth initiatives.
* Drive engagements where the client is looking to understand what is possible and make informed recommendations to guide the solution decision-making processes.

Grow Expertise:
* Continually expand your expertise in payments capabilities, payments technology, and project management.
* Collaborate with our internal partners to understand their solutions and how they are implemented.
* Share your expertise with internal and external teams, to enhance capabilities and contribute to our cross-market community.

Grow the Company:
* Support pursuits and shape sales solutions at a proficient level.
* Intentionally grow and manage your professional network in delivery environments and/or area of expertise.
* Educate internal and external stakeholders about our capabilities and value of payments strategy.

What You’ll Bring
* Deep expertise in payments, payment ecosystems, and the supporting technologies required to deliver scalable, innovative business solutions.
* Proven ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that drive client value, business growth, and market differentiation.
* Experience leveraging Salesforce and other business platforms to optimize operations, measure performance, track key metrics, and drive data-informed decision-making.
* Demonstrated success managing strategic vendor and partner relationships to deliver business and client outcomes.
* Strong operational change management experience, including leading stakeholders through process, technology, and organizational transformation initiatives.
* Proactive approach to identifying opportunities, solving complex challenges, and contributing to a positive, high-performing culture.
* Comfortable navigating ambiguity and providing clarity, direction, and leadership in dynamic client environments.
* Prior consulting experience strongly preferred.
