We’re partnered with one of the Southeast’s leading structural steel firms to hire a skilled Traveling Project Superintendent. This is a high-visibility role overseeing major commercial and industrial steel projects across the region. If you’re an experienced superintendent who thrives in the field, leads with confidence, and knows steel construction inside and out, this is a standout opportunity.

• Lead on-site supervision for structural steel erection on large commercial and industrial projects.
• Coordinate daily field operations, subcontractors, site safety, and schedule management.
• Ensure proper sequencing of steel installation, crane operations, and logistics.
• Conduct site meetings, daily reports, and ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and clients to keep jobs on time and within quality standards.
• Identify issues early and implement solutions to keep the project moving.
• Maintain a strong safety culture and ensure all field crews adhere to company and OSHA requirements.

• 5+ years of experience in structural steel field supervision, erection, or related heavy commercial construction.
• Proven success managing crews and field operations on medium to large steel projects.
• Strong understanding of steel erection methods, site sequencing, cranes, rigging, and safety.
• Ability to travel frequently across the Southeast for project assignments.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, erection plans, and specifications.
