Role OverviewAs a Senior Superintendent, you will be responsible for planning the execution phase of projects, working closely with the operational team to create an overall project plan.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a comprehensive project plan.
- Collaborate with the operational team during the turnover and project planning process.
- Understand project information and identify obstacles and opportunities for the project team.
- Prepare the project team for execution using defined planning processes.
- Engage the project team to generate accurate project information, including T&Q reports.
- Utilize and track timesheets, delivery tickets, and sign‑in/sign‑out sheets.
- Ensure project execution goals are met.
- Validate project awareness for the project team and make necessary adjustments to meet execution goals.
- Communicate project status in a timely and accurate manner to all appropriate parties.
- Proficiency in Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in project execution for a large‑scale self‑perform GC or concrete contractor.
- Self‑perform experience of concrete is required.
- Experience with a variety of project types, with an emphasis on commercial/industrial.
- In‑depth knowledge of construction principles and practices, with experience on projects over $500 k.
- Ability to lead people and drive results for overall project success.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering required.
