Chief Estimator - Atlanta

We are partnered with a General Contractor that specializes in multifamily across Atlanta, GA to help the find a Chief Estimator.

Are you a detail-oriented construction professional that's looking for an opportunity to step into a more senior role? If so let's talk! We're looking to speak with Senior Estimators and Chief Estimators with experiences in multifamily, mixed-use and urban infill.

• Leading conceptual and detailed estimates from early design through to final construction documents
• Owning the bid process end-to-end — from RFP development and scope alignment through to final pricing and bid strategy
• Acting as a mentor and technical leader for junior estimators, helping raise the overall standard of the preconstruction function
• Continuously refining cost tools, templates, and databases to keep the business commercially sharp
• Partnering closely with development and construction leadership to guide feasibility, budgeting, and risk management decisions
• Tracking market conditions, cost trends, and regional pricing data to ensure forecasts remain accurate and competitive

• Visibility: Regular interaction with senior leadership, not siloed estimating

• Legacy opportunity: Help build and future-proof a preconstruction team and process

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline
• 7+ years of estimating or preconstruction experience, including time in a senior or lead capacity
• Demonstrated experience delivering ground-up multifamily or mixed-use projects
• Additional strengths include industry certifications, structured mentoring experience, and advanced cost modelling expertise
