Job Overview- Prepare detailed and accurate steel fabrication estimates for large-scale commercial projects, including stadiums and universities.
- Analyze structural drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Estimate material take-offs, material costs, labor, drawings, delivery costs, overhead, etc.
- Utilize your deep knowledge of AISC standards and steel fabrication processes to optimize costs and resource allocation.
- Manage and mentor estimators and support staff.
- Assign projects, set deadlines, and ensure consistent estimating standards.
- Implement best practices for takeoffs, pricing, and bid reviews.
- 5 years in steel fabrication
