We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee commercial and industrial electrical projects from preconstruction and estimating through completion.
The ideal candidate has a solid background as a licensed electrician or in electrical field supervision, combined with strong project management and estimating skills.
- Lead the planning, estimating, execution, and closeout of multiple electrical construction projects.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and proposals, including material take-offs, labor projections, and subcontractor pricing.
- Develop project schedules and budgets; monitor progress to meet deadlines and financial targets.
- Coordinate with owners, general contractors, engineers, and internal teams to ensure scope, specifications, and compliance requirements are met.
- Negotiate and manage subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders.
- Provide technical guidance to field teams, ensuring adherence to the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Conduct regular site visits to track progress, resolve issues, and verify quality and compliance.
- Review and approve invoices, monitor costs, and maintain accurate WIP (Work in Progress) reporting.
- Lead project meetings and maintain clear, timely communication with all stakeholders.
- Minimum 5 years of hands‑on electrical experience (journeyman, foreman, superintendent, or similar), with at least 3 years in project management and estimating.
- Strong knowledge of the NEC, electrical construction methods, and industrial/commercial installations.
- Proven ability to develop competitive estimates, budgets, and schedules.
- Proficiency with estimating and project management software (e.g., Accubid, Procore, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred; equivalent field experience strongly considered.
- OSHA 30 certification and valid driver’s license required; electrical license or certification a plus.
