Secretariat is recruiting an associate for its Construction Delay team in Atlanta. The opening is aimed at candidates available to start between January and September 2027. The team examines project schedules and records to identify the causes and effects of delay on buildings, infrastructure, power, utilities and oil and gas projects.
The associate will work with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, review drawings, progress reports and correspondence, and analyse project data. Research findings will contribute to expert reports, presentations and client work. The role provides experience in explaining analytical findings to colleagues and clients while managing several priorities against project deadlines.
Applicants must currently be pursuing a relevant bachelor's degree and have a minimum GPA of 3.0. A master's degree is preferred. Previous experience in scheduling, construction management or cost control is helpful but not required.
The employer also accepts relevant research, student projects and internship experience. Candidates should be comfortable with Microsoft Office and willing to learn scheduling and analytical tools. Travel is generally below 15%, although the amount varies by project.
Applicants must have US work authorisation without requiring future sponsorship.
