Ready to take on more complex structural steel bids?
I’m recruiting for an established structural steel fabricator looking to strengthen its estimating team.
With a substantial backlog and ongoing bid activity, this is an opportunity to join an experienced team and contribute to major steel projects.
What you’ll do- Prepare material and labour takeoffs from drawings and models
- Review vendor pricing and subcontractor scopes
- Prepare proposals, budgets, alternates and exclusions
- Support project handovers and change pricing
- An experienced estimator, ideally with 5–10 years’ experience
- A strong structural steel estimating background
- Confidence reading complex blueprints and models
- Proficiency in Tekla, Lift AI and Procore
- Strong organisation and the ability to manage multiple bid deadlines
- Established company with a substantial project backlog
- Opportunity to work on more involved steel bids
- Collaborative team with long-serving colleagues
