A Broadcast Control Technician, also known as a Master Control Operator, is responsible for ensuring the technical quality and smooth flow of broadcast content.

• Basic data entry.
• Handle program scheduling and playback using automation systems.
• Troubleshoot and fix technical issues that may arise during broadcasts.
• Ensure compliance with standards and regulations, with clear communication and discrepancy reporting.

To become an entry-level broadcast control technician, the typical basic education requirement is a high school diploma, and/or technical data entry.
