Motion Graphics Designer

Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite, 5 days/week, located in Dunwoody near 85 & 400 intersection)
Duration: 40 hours/week freelance (W2, hourly rate), possible conversion to full time

Overview Our client is seeking a highly creative and efficient Motion and Graphic Designer to join their in-house brand team. This role is ideal for someone with an agency background who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and can produce high‑quality, short‑form content  designer will play a key role in bringing brand stories to life through engaging motion graphics across digital and print platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and animate short‑form motion graphics for social media reels, web, and external communications.
• Design static graphics for event invitations, posters, social media, and external communications.
• Collaborate closely with the creative team to fulfill content requests.
• Manage and track project workflows using
• Support occasional video editing tasks using Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Optimize content for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and Linked In.
• Work with existing brand elements to create new visual assets.
• Repackage existing brand assets into fresh, engaging content for departments such as athletics and events.
• Maintain brand consistency while exploring creative approaches.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically After Effects and Premiere Pro.
• Familiarity with project management tools ( preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in design, ideally in an agency or high‑volume creative setting.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating ability to maintain quality while working quickly.
• Comfortable working onsite in a collaborative, creative environment.
• Skilled in repurposing brand assets and adapting to evolving visual styles.

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
