Video Editor job at Get Engaged. Atlanta, GA. Get Engaged Media is hiring a Video Editor to focus on short‑form content for social platforms including but not limited to Tik Tok, Instagram Reels, and You Tube Shorts. The ideal candidate has experience editing content specifically for social media and understands how to make videos feel native to each platform. This role involves working with internal teams and videographers to edit raw footage into polished, engaging content using effective pacing, platform‑relevant text, audio sync, and clean visual storytelling.

• Edit short‑form video content (primarily Tik Tok and Reels) from raw footage, user‑generated content (UGC), or motion assets
• Apply platform‑native editing techniques—cutting to sound, engaging transitions and effects, colour correction, on‑screen text animations, sound design, and motion graphics
• Maintain a consistent editing style aligned with brand voice and visual identity
• Collaborate with content creators, brand teams, and strategists to deliver high‑performing social content
• Quickly implement feedback and turnaround edits under tight deadlines
• Organise and manage media assets and file delivery
• Ensure all media is archived appropriately and can be readily obtained
• Stay on top of social trends, memes, editing styles, and audio trends—ensuring content feels relevant and current
• Contribute new concepts and ideas to help elevate creative output across all projects

• 1–3 years of experience editing short‑form content for social platforms (Tik Tok, Reels, You Tube Shorts, etc.)
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and basic knowledge of After Effects or mobile‑first tools (Cap Cut, InShot, Splice, etc.)
• Strong understanding of social media trends, editing styles, and platform best practices.
• Portfolio or reel that demonstrates fast‑paced, engaging social media content (must include Tik Tok/Reels examples)
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Ability to take feedback and implement quickly
• Bonus: experience working with creators, influencers, or in an agency/social media environment
