Wripple’s fantasy sports client is looking for a Digital Content Strategist/Designer for a long‑term contract in Atlanta or remote. This role is a 40‑hour/week contract of 4 months, with potential extension based on project needs and performance.
Our client seeks a world‑class Content Designer who specializes in content writing and can transform how their website organizes and communicates information. The focus is on execution and delivery: you’ll design the backbone of their digital experience—how information flows, how stories unfold, and how users understand and engage with the brand.
Your mission is to produce designs and write copy that continuously ships and evolves their web experience, turning complex information into something simple, intuitive, and compelling. Key Responsibilities- User Research & Analysis: Work with UXR and CI teams to understand audience needs, behaviors, and intent. Translate insights into content priorities, navigation logic, and user pathways.
- Structural Design: Develop best‑in‑class sitemaps, navigation systems, content hierarchies, and user flows that ensure information is discoverable, logical, and engaging.
- Content Audit & Gap Analysis: Evaluate existing site content, identify redundancies, gaps, and opportunities, and recommend restructuring to simplify and elevate the user experience. Consider how product expansion can and should be implemented now and for the future.
- Framework Creation: Establish frameworks and templates that govern how information is structured, ensuring consistency, scalability, and clarity across all pages and modules.
- Cross‑Functional
Collaboration:
Partner with Product Design, creative, development, and marketing to align the site’s architecture and content strategy with core product goals, ensuring a cohesive and faithfully executed user experience.
- Page Copywriting: Write clear, concise, and high‑impact copy for core pages, landing pages, product storytelling, and how‑to pages, balancing brand voice with usability.
- Conversion‑Driven Messaging: Shape persuasive headlines, CTAs, and value propositions that inspire trust and drive user action.
- Microcopy & UX Writing: Craft micro‑interactions (tooltips, error states, labels, onboarding cues) that guide users with simplicity and personality.
- Voice & Tone: Master the brand voice—elevated, confident, and culturally connected—and ensure consistency across every touchpoint, with intentionality of where the user is in the journey and the action we want them to take.
- Editing & QA: Edit, refine, and proof content to meet the highest standards of clarity, grammar, and polish.
- Portfolio of Excellence: A body of work that demonstrates both structural thinking (IA, sitemaps, flows) and copywriting craft (web pages, UX writing, conversion content).
- Experience: 5+ years in information architecture, content strategy, UX writing, or a hybrid role at the intersection of design and content. Experience with premium consumer brands or digital platforms strongly preferred.
- Tools: Proficiency with Figma and Webflow content management.
- UX Fluency: Strong understanding of usability principles, cognitive load, content hierarchy, and how design + content work together to drive engagement.
- Analytical Strength: Skilled in content audits, research synthesis, and turning insights into action.
- Writing Mastery: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills; able to make complex ideas crystal clear and engaging.
- Collaboration: Strong communicator who thrives in partnership with designers and developers; able to defend ideas while listening to feedback.
- Accessibility Knowledge: Familiarity with WCAG guidelines and inclusive content practices.
